I was at India and had a CT scan done of my abdominal area.

I was asked to drink a litre of water over a given time.

Then before the scan the doctor put something into my anus and pumped more water into it.

What concerns me is that, the item looked 'old' and I am guessing right that it has been put in other patient's arse holes (rectum) too.

Could I have caught some STD's?!!

To be in peace, can someone please give me an honest answer on this.

I think I may have to go and ask my GP to get me a full STD test done.

Any advice? I'm new to the STD's talk.
