Hello;

Can a person transmit chlamydia in the days/weeks after receiving treatment? I understand that it takes a while for the antibiotics to completely expel the bacteria from the body.

all they told me was to not have sex while taking the antibiotics...

Yes you can become re infected. They just told me not to have sex for 7 days then for 3 weeks have protected sex.

not become re-infected. transmit it to someone else shortly after taking antibiotics.
