I had sex for the first time about half a year ago and now that I am coming close to having a girlfriend I am terrified that I have an STD that i could pass on. We had protected sex everytime but we did have oral sex a few times. When we had sex a short while after i felt like there was something stuck in my throat when i swallowed or something. I went to the doctor..not telling them i was worried about this being an STD. My doctor said it was something to do with reflux and acid that caused this. She told me to take something that helped with stomach acid and it worked as the things went away in my throat. I went back recently to again but did not tell them i was worried about it being an STD and they gave me medicine for heartburn/acid again. Because i did not say i was worried about it being an STD could they just not have even looked for this? I also have these white painless patches on the corner of my lips which may be related. The feeling in my throat has recently came back. I am worried about what this could be, but i also sometimes have problems with stress which my doctor said could also be a why i get that feeling in my throat. I have been researching my symptoms and am worried maybe it could be chlamydia because it says that the symptoms sometimes do not even occur. Please give me some help as to what i may have and what i should do. I think i should get tested because i worry alot and having that on my back is alot. But i dont want my parents to know about this. Please Help me. Thank you.
