I have been diagnose w/ GAD by my primary care Dr.He has prescribed me ativan 2 mg Q4Hrs prn,it helps but all I do is sleep I cant live my life in a bed what can I do,I have tried to adjust the dose but then it dosent help.I believe I am now having panic attacks,and starting to self medicate w/ alcohol because if i dont take the ativan(because I have to drive)then when i get home and done driving alcohol just works faster!HELP!
