ok, so here i am somewhere between 37 and 38 weeks depending on which due date i have been give (been given 3). the last week or so i have had very uncomfortable menstrual like cramping with frequent bowel movements (sorry tmi) not to mention the lower back pain, terrible heartburn, cant sleep more than an hour at a time, swollen feet and hands and legs, crankiness, overall TOO FREAKIN through feeling and yesterday i go to the doctor and my worst fear...cervix check...no dialtion no NOTHING!! i know that you can be dialted for weeks before you go into labor but i feel like with no thinning or anything that im just no where near going to have this little girl. ive gained 40 pounds which i know sounds terrible but i was pretty skinny before i became pregnant due to poor eating habits (trying to maintain my little frame) so when i got preggers i packed it on. i waitress which i think on one hand is great cause it keeps me on my feet but on the other hand im about to go postal on some people. my due date is the 28th of april (or 3rd or 5th of may). so, ive complained enough. my question is...any of you ladies go into labor without having dialated or had your cervix start thinning? my docot wont even discuss induction until im a week overdue. words of encouragment would be sooooo appreciated. noone else around me knows what im going through and im just having a really really rough day...no sleep..achy. will this journey ever end and my mommy-hood begin??
