Q: Starting early on potty training

I want to introduce the potty chair to my 15 month old-no pressure to succeed so soon, but get him used to it. How can I do this? I bought a chair and have it in the bathroom and even put him on it, which he quickly got up from turned to face it and peed on the chair-not in it. It was really funny.

So, how can I get him acclimated to the presence of the chair? I want to start training around 20 months. I know it's possible to train children that young, but I'm a realist also and know that it may not happen the way I expect. I have no persistent time-frame.

Should I let him be diaper free for periods of time? How do I teach about wet and dry diapers??

Im not too sure. My son is just 8 months o we havent gotten to that point yet (Our 1st child) Our plan is too teach him as soon as he can walk...lol. Daniel says as soon as he can walk and ask Daddy whats that he is gonna show him how to pee. I think its a great idea for him to show Adam how. They probably learn faster. Can your hubby show him?
