Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

Birth control pills are usually started after the period starts or on the first Sunday after the periods.First of all if your periods have been irregular it could be due to various causes as PCOD,Hormonal imbalances,Pelvic disease, endometritis, thyroid.
Birth pills should be started only after proper examination so that they can be prescribed accordingly.
Kindly visit a Gynaecologist for evaluation.

Take Care!
