I have been taking Alesse for about 2 years now. And just recently I stopped them for a week for my period to come and I didnt get a chance to pick up some more over that week and did not take them on the day im suppose to start them back up. Its been just over a day since I have not and Id like to start them again as usual. Whens the right time exactly? Thanks - Nat

You can start them whenever you'd like, but you may experience spotting and your period may not be regular for awhile if you don't start them on time with your cycle.

If you can wait, then just start the sunday after you get your period. If you don't want to wait, then start now. Smile

Either way, you'll need a back up method of birth control until you've been taking the pill for a week.
