Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you have been sexually active during later days of period time or after finishing with periods, then you could expect chances of pregnancy as you get closer to your fertile days at after finishing with periods. Sperms once released can stay alive for 3-4 days inside you. The egg once released from ovary can stay alive for 6-7 days. The cramps and the spotting could have been suggestive of possibility of pregnancy. Wait and watch for your next periods. If you suspect to be pregnant, look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of pregnancy. If you suspect pregnancy, or if periods do not start within 10 days of expected period dates, or if you have altered periods, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for further examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet.
Take care.
