So I took the pill within the 5 days before my period started. I'm new with birth control. Well it's been over a week and im 5 days late on my period. Im feeling bloated and sick and I would loose my appitite after a few bites of food then an hour later be starving. Is that normal? I'm more worried about the fact that I am 5 days late and I heard you should at least spot, but I haven't. I am sexually active and getting worried. Is it normal to be late or skip that period till I take the placebo pills?

If you are still taking the active pills, you will not have a period. That is how the hormones work. While you take the active pills, you do not ovulate or have a period. Your period happens in the inactive pill week when your hormone levels drop.
