So I started my period this past sunday. I took my first pill that day like the doc said to. By monday morning my period had stopped nothing, nada. Just wondering if I should stop taking the pills wait till my period starts again and then continue taking my pack of pills? Or should I just continue taking the pills like normal? This isnt my first time on the pill and its the same brand I had used before. Also I never have breakthrough bleeding and was expecting my period to start.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
The periods stopping so early after starting on the pill may not be normal. Discuss with your gynecologist about this and go ahead with an examination to see if anything is wrong. Based on the examination results, it will be decided whether you should continue the rest of the pills as usual or stop taking them.
Take care.

How long should your period last if you take it on the first day for the first time? Regular length or shorter?
