i came home from school thinking i bruised my chin until today, i looked it up online. It is very small mabey 3 centiemters and its red. It looks like a mosquito bite. ITs extremly painful! like super sensitive when i touch it and when i move my lips together like whn i put on chapstick. i looked it up and this person had same symptoms but they said it was a staph inf and had to have surgery and now im frekaing out!!!!!!!!!!! i looked up what the person said it was called which was MRSA and it said
"Staph skin infections, including MRSA, generally start as small red bumps that resemble pimples, boils or spider bites"

im getting scared here, please help me!

It is a good idea to visit your physician since staph skin infection with MRSA, indeed, can resemble a regular pimple or boil, in otherwise healthy person.The intensive pain may indicate infection spreading into deeper skin layers and abscess formation.
This can be treated with intensive antibiotic treatment and possible drainage.

See your physician for a true diagnosis!
