I am 16 years old, and I have been having a whole bunch of symptoms(nausea, fatigue, muscle aches, headaches, pelvic pain, abdominal pain, menstrual problems, etc.) and I have been to several doctors for it. I had a laparascopy and they found that I had endometriosis, but Stage 1(very mild). Some of the doctors have told me that my symptoms are all related to the endo, but I don't see how, no more than I have, that I could be that sick. Does any know anything about this?

The symptoms you have described are commonly symptoms that endometriosis can cause! Don't worry yourself too much, I am currently experiencing the same symptoms that have progressed and worsened immensley. These symptoms began when i was too 16 and now at 19 finally found that I have endometriosis, because my symptoms are advancing quickly however I insisted my doctor recommend me to an Endocrinologist and a Gynocologist, two specialists that know particularily about women's hormones, endometriosis, and related things. Endometriosis or growths of any kind can cause imbalances in hormones, this could be what is happening to you which could be causing these symptoms, see an Endocrinologist and they have the resources to test your hormones. Same path I am headed on currently. I wish you luck!

Endometriosis and Candida research found link
Dear Endo/yeast suffers,

It is an awful twosome. I have had misery for
almost a year and really can't get a doctor to
listen to me. I am an registered nurse and
really like doing research on treatments and
new developments for cures. I know there is
not much help in the medical community for
severe yeast infections or endometriosis. So
I have been praying and thinking for quit some
time trying to figure this out. I have pain
and soreness in lower abdomen almost daily.
I have figured out though it is endometrosis
with yeast. I fouund a research article relating how they have found a link between the two. Only treatment for endo medically is
surgical removal with hormone treatment. I have recently heard about an Iridologist by
the name of Dr. Rueben Schwartz.
You have to write him for an appointment as
he is Omish and doesn't have a phone. You can
just show up and be seen but you have to wait
until appointments are seen. His hours vary
some it seems. I found one reference that said M-Tues-Fri from 7:30 am to 3 pm and open
on Sat from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. Then another reference of August of 2008 said he
was open Mon-Wed-Fri from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
and closed on Saturdays. So if you live very
far away you might want to write him for appt.

Also, if you have Candida/yeast infections consider getting amalgam fillings removed as
this promotes candida/yeast proliferation.
The yeast is thought to engulf the mercury to
protect it from the body. Here is a reference
article or two matter of fact I will post.
Also, in the diet it says nuts are okay the
only nut that doesn't bother me is Brazil nuts. They are good sources of Selenium which helps boost the immune system. Some
forms of selenium may have yeast in them even though they say their yeast free.
Here are article about testimonies of Dr Schwartz and also the candida/yeast diet
references. But to treat endometriosis you have to get rid of yeast too it seems.

Also, I found referenced at the health food store that the parathyoid is not working correctly with endometriosis. The calcium is
not being handled correctly it seems by the thyroid. I have seen by reading that many folks with thyroid problems have endometriosis too. Calcium propagates cell division so it only makes sense that endometrosis worsening could be caused by too much calcium in the system. So maybe back off on supplements until you get thyroid working better. Oh, mercury toxicity causes thyroid
suppressiontoo.

Here is a little different herbal treatment
regimen I am going to try. As Dr. Schwartz
uses a Red Clover blend to treat endo, I see
it is also active against candida/yeast. So it
sounds like a winner for herbal remedy to me.
Hope this helps some sufferers.

Cheer up there is HOPE!

Your symptoms sound like my symptoms- but I haven't gotten the diagnosis of endo. My OB/GYN wasn't very helpful when I brought up my concern, instead, she prescribed me a different brand of birth control pill. I am on the hunt for a new doctor who might actually take me seriously.
