I had stage 4 endometriosis. iam 34 years old, 2 months before i have undergone surgery. my doctor removed uterus bag, two ovaries, as it is very complicated and critical condition. doctor informed that a bit of cyst is left as it is attched to colon, unable to remove or scratch as it will damage the colon. And it is a open surgery. can it gro again in colon and cause any problem in future. Is there any medicine to heal the cyst part from the colon.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If the cyst that is described by your doctor is due to endometriosis itself, then regression therapy with hormonal pills can work in controlling its growth and spread. If both the ovaries have been removed, you will have surgical menopause, which itself will stop the growth of the cyst described (if it is endometriosis related or hormonal cyst). Consider being in regular follow-up and monitoring of your treating gynecologist and report any abnormal/new symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
