My mom has behavior change for 3-4 years now and she is very forgetful, keeps asking what day of the week it is every 5 minutes. She also becomes more selfish, can sink into depression if anything does not go her way. She has delusions too, telling us that my dad who passed away eight years ago was not dead and will come back to visit her. She sometimes become very irrational, believing newspaper salesperson has the intention of hurting her. Her mother had Alzheimer’s disease forty years ago.

We took her to see doctor. Doctor ordered MRI scan. Yesterday the scan result came back saying mostly normal. She has some white tissue loss but that is due to aging. She has no tumor or other structure damages. Is that possible?

altzheimer
Hello

There is an interesting website about altzheimer being treated very successfully with Zinc supplements.
I seem to remember that Kinetico wrote about it on this forum.
I found it. It is called; Zinc: Immune System, Pregnancy, Alzheimer's and Acne.

Have a look at it
