A few days ago I was sat on the toilet constipated and was straining a little.all of a sudden I felt a popping on top of my head inside.Last thursday I went to the hospital and saw some doctors, they gave me a x-ray and a ct scan, also they conducted a lumbar puncture which took a while because the student nurse kept dropping the spinal fluid container, when I got home I felt awful and since last thursday I have been experiencing severe stabbing pains in my head at the top, cant cough, sneeze,or bend and even hurts to pass wind.I have been to my doctors and they have prescribed amertrypterlin, which des make me sleep but doesnt surpress the pain.does anyone know what I could have done

Hi Muttsnutts,

Have a nurologist perform a MRI on your head, what you are experiencing isn't normal. Pain killers only cover up the problem, you want it identified and fixed. Let us know how it goes.

Good Luck,
