I have mild anxiety, and i refuse to take perscription meds. I have heard that St. John's is a natural cure for anxiety. I was wondering if anyone has taken this before, or heard anything about taking it for anxiety purposes?

I found this link. I hope it helps you out some. Since it's natural, it probably wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Of course, you should talk with your regular first.

chas1221- it doesn't indicate whether you are male or female.
if your male completely disregard this, but if female: i've seen some studies point to the fact that st. johns wart can affect the effectiveness of birth control. i also suffer from anxiety, but cant take this because it would only then make my anxiety worse.
