Spotting while using Implanon

i have been on it to . i hate menstrual periods as it is and i have been spotting for almost week i was on my period for a full 7days which isnt normal for me i usually go for 5days and i just have been spotting. i want it to stop and i want to know how long it usually lasts ?

I went for a whole year without so much as a spot when I first had Implanon inserted. But gradually my periods have started to return albeit irregular (I usually skip a month spot for about 5 days then the next month have a proper period).

Implanon works in different ways for different women.

You can have sex while spotting, just as long as your partner doesn't mind
