I started my third pack of Lybrel last
Friday. I've been spotting since the
middle of my second pack (roughly 3 weeks
total) and it's starting to become
annoying.
I knew this was a possibility when I
switched pills, I just didn't expect it to
last this long or be as heavy. Has anyone
else experience this with Lybrel? If so,
how long did it last? The info says most
spotted through the sixth pack, which
isn't very encouraging.

Yes, most women do spot through 3-6 packs,
then you should have the real absence of a
period.
It is not dangerous, but it can be
annoying.

Almost exact same situation. I started
bleeding towards the end of my second pack
and I'm halfway through my 3rd pack and
I'm still bleeding! It's not as heavy as
a normal period, but it's enough to be
very annoying and it's grossing me out.
I'm also having mild cramps every now and
then. The Lybrel website says that if you
bleed for longer than a week you should
contact your doctor. What do you guys
think? It seems like I am not the only
one going through this.
But do you have cramps that accompany the
bleeding as well?
