I have been spotting for about 3 days, its like pinkish or light red and a brownish color. I think Im suppose to be getting my period soon but I usually dont spot like this and my right side has been hurting and ocassionally my lower stomach. I dont think Im pregnant but me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago and again a week ago I felt sick about a week ago and felt the urge to vomit after I smelt grease from frying chicken. I also felt the urge to vomit after everytime I ate so I only been able to eat baked lays (I felt that way for about 3-4 days) but I thought that i was just getting sick but now Im spotting and Im not sure if Im pregnant or not and Im not sure if I can have pregnancy symptoms or even take a pregnancy test this early... any explainations? :(
I can understand your confusion due to the change of events. This midcycle spotting can be due to implantation bleeding. For confirming the status of pregnancy by urine for pregnancy test (UPT),the most accurate way to test for pregnancy is to wait until after your period is due.
First appearance of pregnancy hormone, HCG, due to implantation occurs 6-12 days after ovulation. So if you donât want to wait for your periods and test for pregnancy then you can test at 9 or 10 days past ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Aimstrip pregnancy test gives good results and can detect 20 mIU of HCG.
I sincerely suggest you to do a urine for pregnancy test and if the test comes negative, then please wait for your periods and repeat the test after 1 week of your missed periods date. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
