I am 38 years old and trying to concieve. For the past 2 months I have been spotting between periods. Last month it was off and on for two weeks before and this month it has started a week after I stopped my period. It is brownish in color and I am also having discharge. Is this normal or should I be booking an appointment with my doctor?
Spotting between periods is not normal.Sometimes during ovulation light spotting might be present for few days but not prolonged. If the periods have been shorter in duration and less in flow then possibility of pregnancy can also be suspected.
I will advise you to get a Urine HPT done and then based on the result visit a Gynaecologist for evaluation.
