Q: Spotting brown for week

I just recently found out that I am pregnant. I have had several positive home pregnancy tests and a positive blood test. I have been spotting for one FULL week. It started out pink and now is brown and much lighter, but it still worries me. I am about 2 weeks. my first OB appointment isn't until the beginning of May. I have asked several advice nurses from my clinic because I am so worried about this, but they have all told me that unless there is bright red blood or cramping while bleeding (which I haven't had either) that I should be fine until my appointment. This is my first pregnancy, I have no idea whats going on, what to expect, or what to do. Has anyone else bled for this long? Any advice would be greatly appreciated and put a stressful mind at ease. Thank you so much in advance.
