Spotting is an expected side effect in the
first few months after taking
contraceptive pills until the body gets
used to the hormones from outside. It is
very important to exclude organic reasons
for spotting that are typical after
delivery. Normally, there can be spotting
in the first 6-8 weeks, but if spotting
continues you have to exclude
post-delivery complications like placental
residua, infections, etc.
You should consult your gynecologist about
this.
