Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. The possibility of pregnancy is always high in the case of sexual intercourse during the unsafe period (when the ovulation takes place). The confirmation can be done by either urine pregnancy test which is done around 1 week after the missed periods.

The serum beta HCG levels can be done around 10-14 days after the ovulation and if positive is suggestive of pregnancy. However, for this a blood sample has to be taken. Please do consult a gynecologist for the same. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
