spots on stomach , chest , back

He has small red spots on his stomach, chest and back. I've ask him if they bother him in anyway and he said no. They have been there for about 3 to 4 days now. What could it be. Do I need to take him to be seen by his Dr. what is their something that I can but on it without going to the Dr.
