Q: Spots on labia

I've noticed over the past two weeks, that a couple of little spots have appeared on my labia and one between my vagina and anus. These spots first felt like tiny bumps beneath my skin, and I didn't really notice them as being odd. The past few days though, they've become raised, and are each a couple of millimetres in size. I checked their appearance and they're skin coloured, but are causing me irritation. The one nearest my anus is especially sore after going to the toilet.

I read up on STDs and i don't have alterations in my discharge, i don't have unexpected bleeding and my partner and I were originally clear or STDs. We had unprotected sex a couple of months ago (I am on the pill) and i've not experienced any soreness or burning until the past few days. My labia also appear slightly swollen and inflamed with some redness, but I put that down to shaving irritation.

I'm quite uncomfortable at the moment, and I am worried that I may have contracted something somehow. Does this sound like an STD? If so, I'll go to my nearest GUM clinic...

Thanks

***update***
Well, yesterday, i woke up, and only one of the few little spots is still there... weird!!

Something else i've noticed though, is that where the remaining spot is ( on my labia) the area around it has become swollen. like my whole labia is quite red and VERY sore. It's uncomfortable to wear jeans or fitted underwear,,, My boyfriend and I haven't seen each other for a few days, so sex hasn't irritated that area. I looked in the mirror at my swollen labia, and it looks like there's a fine hair like cut near the spot that's still there. It kinda looks like when a stretch mark appears (sore skin, redness and a little rip in the surface)...

I'm definitely going to go to the GUM clinic asap... thing is, tomorrow's bank holiday, and i don't know when i can next get time off work to go see someone. HELP!!
