Q: Spots on buttocks from hair removal cream

Hi well I put some of that hair removal cream on my buttocks, it didn't really work there (didn't leave it on long enough). Anyways about 4 days later my buttocks is covered in a rash and acne type lumps and spots. Really painfull.

I never get spots on the buttocks so isit worth getting some off the shelf acne cream and just rub on them shower off.

I also tested the cream on my shoulders and its also left some minor spots there to.

This sounds like it may have been Folliculitis. Possibly the hair follicules were blocked and became inflamed. Here is a website with more info if you're interested: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/ar ticle/000823.htm
