Q: spots all over head

Hi

It's been over 4 years now I have started to have one or two spots at the back of my head and with the time became more. Firstly I did not really notice it because I had lots of hair then it became obvious when I shaved my head. I could see lots of spots a the back of my head, I was advised to use neo-medrol which after awhile I had started to have a side effect, my skin was going lighter then I stopped using it. I used skin tend which worked quite good but I only can get it from America and finally now I am using skin light which doesn't really make much different. And now the spots have grown all over my head which is worst than it was at the first stage. I have attached a picture of the spots on my profile. I am really desperate for help because this is very embarrassing thing to have.

Thank you for taking time to read my message.

Regards,
Rene

Have you contacted a Dermatologist on this?...Not a GP, but a specialist....We have dealt with many skin problems in our family and I have found that even the specialist's are being stumped at what they are finding with the skin...It is as if we can't catch up with the dangers of the Sun and it's perils on the human race...These are just my thoughts, but believe me, we have spent a lot of money on specialists...I have found that sometimes medications can make something worse...

Good luck,
Caroline

I have not contacted a Dermatologist, but I did see my GP and he did not seem to know what to do. But I will see a Dermatologist as soon as possible.

many thanks for the reply,
Rene

You are very welcome and good luck...If you aren't too busy, drop a line of what this is...However, I can tell you one thing...The Summer time makes the skin more prone to acting up...Wear a hat in the Sun...You may want to stop shaving your head...This alone could be an irritation...I am not a doctor or nurse, but do know this from many visits and perils of the Sun...

Best wishes,
Caroline

I am just saying this to you and not men in general...I would say until they figure out what your problem is, do not annoy it...There is nothing wrong with shaving your head, but you want to come to the bottom of this problem...Now we are off to have lunch...Take care, kindest regards and not to worry...

Hi

I went to visit my GP who has prescribed me to take Tetralysal 300 before he could recommend me a dermatologist and by magic all my spots are gone in less than 5 days. The treatment last 2 months so I am still continuing it as recommended.
