Q: Spot on lung

I have had oral cancer (squeamish cell) which was removed from my tongue and right side of my neck. Now, I have a spot on my right lung and two months ago the PET/CAT scan showed it at 8cm, now a CAT scan, with a different CT computer shows, it at 20cm. I have two questions;
1. How fast does a lung cancer grow?
2. Could the older CAT computer with 1 head vice a new CAT computer with 64 heads be why the spot is showing up bigger?

It is extremely unlikely that the observed rapid increase in the size of this lung mass has anything to do with different CT scanners.

Based upon your brief description of your history, this mass is certainly highly suspicious for a malignant tumor (either a metstatic tumor from your oral cancer or a primary lung cancer).
