I have had this spot about 3 inches above the knee for about 5 years. Its approx. the size of 1/2 a dime, its reddish in color, sometimes itches. In the winter its very light, then as it gets hotter outside it tends to get red/pink. It never changes. I have MANY skin rash issues during the summer...Ever since perimenopause began its a constant deal treating different rashes during the hot months. Ever since I have had this, any time I have exposed it to the sun--it is ALWAYS covered. Any ideas. I am going to my doctor in 2 weeks..and I have pictures..its just so strange...and I can shave right over it without any issue....
