Q: Sports Nutrition Supplements?

I'm a doctor who has his own consultancy. At the gym where I work out, I get to talk a lot of young men, and some older, who want to build muscle and are using anabolic steroids or some other harmful drugs. It concerns me and I've been talking to the owner of the gym. We're thinking of partnering up and starting a line of sports nutrition supplements which are safe to use and will produce the desired results. I'm looking for a good nutraceutical manufacturer, specifically GMP certified. If you can suggest a few good contract manufacturers, would really appreciate it. I'd also like to hear from others about the kind of sports supplements they use.

In my practice I use a company called Standard Process. They are all natural, organic, whole food supplement distributors. Other companies I use are Anabolic Laboratories and DaVinci.

Thanks, Antonio for your recommendation. I did go through the Standard Process website - they have a few herbal remedies specifically related to muscle fitness. But I'm looking for something more anabolic like creatine or beta-hydroxy beta-methylbutyrate (HMB) supplements. Other supplements I would like to manufacture are energy boosters, high-protein supplements, weight loss aids, hydration drinks, etc.

I've got my own formulas. I’m looking for a supplement manufacturer with a good research team who can help me enhance the formula for manufacturing and marketability. I also want to print educational literature about the dangers of using drugs and steroids and how supplements can be just as effective without the harmful side effects. I found a few companies online, but would prefer to hear from others with experience in this. Thanks, guys!

I have studied a few good supplement manufacturing companies. I've also spoken to a few of their reps over the phone. All of them seem pretty good, but the one that stands out the most and meets my manufacturing needs is Nutricap Labs. Nutricap has been GMP certified for years and has experience in producing quality products which is just what I want. They also offer optional services such as the printing of promotional literature. I plan on printing post cards and pamphlets for my direct mail program. I also liked their warehousing, order fulfillment and drop shipping options as well and I'm looking into this right now. It may turn out to be more convenient and profitable for me, since by profession I am doctor. It all looks good right now! But I’d still like to hear from anyone who has had experience working with Nutricap Labs?

Hi Anit - thanks so much for your information. I'd like to know more about this supplement company you are talking about. Since you are already in this line of work, could you tell me if you have heard of Nutricap Labs? Would appreciate hearing about the company you're talking about and any information on Nutricap Labs that you can provide.
