Dear Ones,
I had a spontaneous heamatoma 8 years ago. I currently am out of the country where it happened and will be traveling back there to discuss with the Neurosurgeon and rehabilitation Doctors and Nurses, and review my medical record ect as I wish to write about this at length in order to be of motivation and help to others (my recovery is considered 'miraculous'.)
(I had to bled in my cerebellum which culminated in a clotting the size of 4cm in diameter, subsequent surgery, coma and lengthy rehabilitation)
I have some queries which I would sincerley love answered, including some medical language.

Is a spontaneous haematoma the same as a subarachnoid hemorrhagic?

What is it called when holes are drilled into the skull to let the brain continue to swell? (i.e with holes in the skull there is more room for the brain to swell)

A 'blow hole' at the front of my skull was drilled in order for brain fluid to leak. What is this procedure called?
I am nervous about speaking with the Surgeon, Doctors and Nurses, as I don't want to waste their time, because I can not really work out what I need to ask .. (I now that sounds slack but my mind is still very foggy and I no longer seem to have creative thinking tools I once had. I can not seem to think of things I need until I need them .. if that makes sense.)

any ideas of possible questions would be greatly appreciated.

I have never been on a forum like this before and am unsure how it works.
Do I post and then after putiing the address in "Favourites" come back to the same page to see if anyone has answered or ...?
Thank you so much for your time,
Blessed Bliss for another precious moment .. Alexandra
