I am trying to get some information, I understand it maybe hard to give me advise without seeing my medical records and image. I have been diagnoised with spondylothesis of the L5/S1, I saw a neurosurgeon who told me he could fix the problem with surgery, using a "cage" that allows the bones fuse together, there will be no removal of any bones from anywhere. I then went and saw an orthopedic surgeon for a second opinion, he is suggesting Injection therapy (10 day intensive) with water therapy, physical therapy, and heat therapy. I am trying to do research on the injection therapy. Can you give me your thoughts on this treatment? Questions I should be asking the doctor more specifically about the inject therapy. My pain seems to be increasing daily over the past week. I did not have any back pain until last week, I was diagnoised with the Spindylothesis in Feb of this year, and had minor pain in my right calf, then it increased, I now have numbness in my right foot, and a lot of pain in the back of my knee and back of thigh. I am taking Gabapentin and Nyproxen.
Any suggestions or information would be greatful.
Thank you...
Daniel
