Hello,

I am 21 weeks pregnant and my doctor informed me I have a split placenta which seems to joined top to bottom with some sort of a membrane and the cord is wraped around it to make matters worse. They are unsure what it actually is and cannot tell me the consequence of this problem. If anyone could shed an light on this or may have come across it before I would appreciate it.
