Hi there,
My niece (14 y/o)diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma, diffused, 8 cycles of chemotherapy and nomoclonal therapy done last Jul 2009. Her last ct-scan result shows the enlargement of the spleen. She is complaining pain on her left upper part of the abdomen, one inch below the last rib cage, she has a PTBD to drain the bile juice. I ask the oncologist regarding the pain that my niece's feel but he can not pin point the reason...either it is the cause of the PTBD (stent), or in the stomach or the spleen. She always feel this pain every each chemotherary, for one week, but on her last chemo she feel the pain until this today, longer than usual.
Please help me to determine why she still having this pain and does the spleen back to normal size after the chemo? Please share some info so I could help my niece...thank u and God bless to all.
