Q: Spinal Fusion surgery for kyphosis

Has anyone here had spinal fusion surgery (due to have a serious operation in may to correct kyphosis) and looking for any opinions on this procedure?

Hello - Yes I have had spinal fusion in august 2008. S1,L5&L4.
They used rods and screws and also a type of synthetic bone material which was put into a cage which was inserted into the gap where my disc should have been. In time the bone material should grow and fuse the vertabreaz together. I will request you as a friend and if you wanna talk about it more we can.
