I am only near 2 and a 1/2 weeks pregnant. i got a few spiderbites on my leg causing a slight swell. I was giver Prednisone, which is a type if steroid to take care of the swelling. Its only a 5mg tablet to be taken twice a day. Does anyone know if I should avoid taking this. Any suggestions on something I could do INSTEAD of taking to medication, Cold Water, Heating Pad etc... Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

I did, and he gave it to me anyway, but he said something about the dosage. Its a 5 mg pill. I was just curious if anyone had any difficulties after taking this medication while pregnant
