For the last week, I have been experiencing constant sour taste (like vinegar)-{seems like my teeth are eroding) in my mouth and nausea and frequent diaharrea. I am eating bland food-bananas seem to be the best for tolerance. It seems I get a quick rise in temperature- a fever for a few minutes than the fever leaves. On emonth ago I had -for the first time- constant chest pains-over my heart area in 2 areas: over the top of the heart (quarter sized circle) and under the heart on the left side. The pain was a dull pain-not releived by walking, sitting, lying down. I also had tarry black stools and bleeding which the doctor found when I was in the office. I have had 2 EKGs and one Echocardiogram and endoscopy-all are okay. Blood work has been done and I am now scheduled for a liver ultrasound. My blood test showed low red blood count: 3.6; hemaglobin (11.4) and hematocrit(33.3); ASPARTATE (50) and ALANINE TRENSFERASE 58. I am active physically, slender and never had these chest pains and acid before. Doctor doesn't know what it could be. Ran into a friend whose daughter has been out 10 days with constant sourness and nausea and diaharrea. Could this be a virus? Or is this some beginning of some disease?
Thank you!
