Sores on inner thigh

I have recently developed some sores on my inner thigh. It started out as one, and it seemed like a pimple but then a few more popped up and it seems like they are taking a long time to heal (2-3 weeks). I dont have anything on my vagina or anywhere else on my body, just the inner thigh. I thought it could be from shaving, and spending a lot of time in the pool, or an ingrown hair. I've done some googling but there are a lot of different responses like follicular infection or boils... but I just dont know for sure. Hoping someone can help.
