Help. For the past two weeks I've got a sore throat. Yesterday morning I felt two lumps on either side on my esophagus just below the adams apple. When I moved the esop from side to side I got a crackling sound but it eased the sore throat temporarily. Then last night it happened...after moving from side to side the sore throat went for about 30 secs...I swallowed and received the worst pain ever (as if those lumps moved up my throat) and my throat actually made a cracking sound (like cracking your knuckles) without me touching it, just from swallowing.

My sore throat has now actually moved positions...it was below the adams apple but now it's above it and boy does it hurt to swallow...any ideas what is wrong??? tonsils???

Extremely eHealthy
Could be tonsils. I would go have it checked by your doc and rule out an infection first.
