Q: Sore throat and stomach pain

I had a relationship for few months which ended 10 weeks back and since i was having sore throat and sometimes stomach pain i went for a HIV test and tested negative. doctor also confirmed that i am suffereing from tonsils. Should i again go for a HIV test and is ELISA is the only test to find i am affected or normal HIV test are also ok? Please help and suggest

hello your test came back negative so you are safe. your tonsillitis is the throat problem due to infection in the back of your throat..this can cause a fever and loss of appetite for you and treated with antibiotics. i was 37 when i had mine removed but only after re-curring bouts..they do serve a purpose and prevent germs entering your system, now when i get a cold im always certain to get chest infection. you,ll be fine don,t worry they will settle down.
