My room (I'm in high school) is currently above my grandma's and she is a smoker. Will it affect my health?

I've been given the option to move my room, but I really like the extra space. She has expressed the hope of quitting and was off of them for about 2 weeks, but I just recently started smelling smoke again. My brother had lived in this room above her for about 6 years and it never bothered him a bit, but I have always been more bothered by it. It makes me cough a little. My question is will there be long-term health effects if I decide to stay?
