Last year, right after christmas, I fell ill to what my doctor thought was mono after I tested negative for strep throat. (after blood work, it turned out that it was not mono)

I still never found out what I had, but my symptoms were:

Dizziness
High Fever
Very, Very sore throat (probably the most prominent symptom)
Lack of apetite
Fatigue
Stuffy nose
and I was Cold all the time, even though I was sweating.

It started about 2 days after christmas with a slight sore throat, so I ate lots of ice cream, thinking that (for some reason) it might help. The soreness started getting worse and worse and my fever started to get very high, leading to my sleep and not eating. After a while, my nose was stuffed up, so I was forced to sleep with my mouth open because I got too lazy to blow my nose.

I drank lots of orange juice, and someone even made me a few mimosas, which felt better going down my throat than orange juice normally would.

This whole thing lasted about a week, and after my fever went down, I was left with a disoriented feeling and was dizzy when I walked, even though I was no longer tired, and by the end of that week, It only took a few bites of food to fill me up.

Now, since it is over, this is just a matter of curiosity. I would like to know what it was that I had.

Thanks!
Kisa
