Q: Sore on inner vaginal lip

I noticed it a few days ago.
It's painful, and I'm currentlty suffering a flu right now (which I've read are both symptoms)
It does not look like genital herpes or warts, but more like a scab (some of it has even seemed to peel off when I went to the bathroom today). It's hard to see from my angle, but it appears to bubble when I put peroxide on it.

Is this a cut that has just gotten infected, or do I have an STD?

have you had unprotected sex recently? Is there a chance of exposure?

Herpes sores are open lesions on your genitals. They are open and puss for the 1st couple days. And yes peroxide would cause that affect. Then they scab ub and heal. Then they are gone until your next outbreak.

Herpes can cause flu like symptoms. Or you could have the flu which caused your immune system to weaken which in turn offered the perfect opportunity for an outbreak.

There is really no sure way to know unless you go to your doctor and have a blood test and culture done. Set up an appointment and see what they say. That way you can be sure and not have to worry.
