I had a d&c on Jan.8,2011 and I was bleeding for a week following the surgery,I haven't had my period yet but my husband and I have been having unprotected sex, Is it possible for me to be pregnant right now? Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
You can have your normal fertility return back immediately after a D&C (if you are ovulating periodically). If you have been sexually active then chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out. If you are not ready for being pregnant, you should have considered getting started on regular birth control immediately after the D&C. Your symptoms of having sore nipples, increased tiredness, bloating could be suggestive of early pregnancy. Consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for examination and blood HCG test to confirm/rule out pregnancy.
Take care.
