Sore lump on arm after giving blood

my girlfriend gave blood today. It was her 2nd time in giving plasma. They had trouble finding the vein and then after I had given about half a bottle of plasma it kept clogging up and clogging up and burning. Now she has a sore lump on her arm and a hole is still there. Also her arm is sore on her inner elbow with sharp pains. Is this normal after donating blood? Should she seek medical attention?
