sore knee after workout Posted: 03-01-08 13:09pm
I haven't been getting to the gym as much
as usual. The other night I did my leg
workout and woke up the next morning with
the inside of my knee "twinging". It got
worse as the day progressed. It got a
little better when I got home from work
and took off my heeled boot-shoes.
48 more hours have passed. I thought it
felt better this morning until I got out
of bed! It does not seem to be getting
any better.
I probably should have put ice on it the
first 2 nights.
Now maybe I should put heat on it?
i'm guessing I should rest as much as
possible this weekend and keep my leg up
(easier said then done). I'm close to 60
yrs.
My worry is that I strained something
doing the machine for inner thighs where
you push weights together with your legs
(knees).
I don't think a ligament or whatever is
torn because I think I would feel sharper
pain.
Thanks for any advice.

I put on an ACE bandage and thought it
helped at first but took it off today
because I thought it might be making
things worse.
