Sore/itchy anal, with stomach cramps that come and go

For the last few months, i have been getting a sore / itchy anal after using my bowels. This pain is especially worse if i walk around a lot. I have also been having stomach cramps that come and go, i might have them twice a week. When i have the stomach cramps my stomach makes a lot of noises. When i went to my doctor when it first started happenning, he told me to use proctosedyl even though he could feel any haemorrhoids. This cream does give me relief until i use my bowels again. Since it began i have been taking metamucil, which hasn't really helped. I have no idea what it could be, but i really need to get some permament relief as i am sick of relying on the haemorrhoid cream. Please Help!
