So I just had sex for the first time in well over a year and it was probably a bit over-zealous because of that. I noticed a little bit of blood when I wiped and I just figured it was my period, because in the past I have had sex sort of jump-start my cycle. But I am embarrassed to say that I don't really keep up with mine on a calendar (especially since the inactivity) and I can't remember if I'm due now or if this is a little early. I have been bleeding for a few days and it feels like normal cramps, but there is also soreness from the intercourse as well, I guess. My question is, should I just write this off as my period or should I be worried that maybe I am bleeding inside? I don't feel like I have a fever or anything, but I would hate to write this off as my period if it could be something more.
