I recently had a sonogram done at 9w1d and the technician said the baby was about 9 oz. Everything I've read says they should only weigh 1/2 oz now and 10 oz. at 20 weeks. I am worried that something is wrong... how accurate are these weigh ins? Should I be concerned? My daughter was 10 lbs when she was born, so could this just mean another 10 lb. baby???

Wow! I thought an 8 lb 11 oz baby was big--especially since I'm so small. Can't even imagine having a 10 lb baby. However, the second one (unless delivered early) is usually bigger than the first--by what I've heard. My first daughter was 8 lbs 11 oz at 39 weeks. My second daughter came 3 weeks early at 37 weeks weighing 7 lbs 9.5 oz. So, I'm inclined to believe there might be truth to the second one being bigger. So if your first was 10 lbs...like the second will be big too. Best wishes! (BTW...I'm not a doctor. I'd get a second opinion.)
